Our Origins
The toxicologist and expert in endocrine disruption Franck Chuzel has decided to launch a human-sized company aiming to "do its part" in the collective effort to improve the well-being and health of people while respecting our planet. After 20 years spent in large industrial groups in the life sciences industry as head of security assessment units, and having matured his business plan during his Executive MBA at EMLyon, he founded in 2015 the innovative company LifeScientis to offer two complementary services. On one hand, the assessment of toxicological risks, and on the other hand, to develop a technological platform for the control of the distribution of active ingredients as an alternative to microplastics.

LifeScientis, a player committed to youth !
For two consecutive summers, Lifescientis’ team welcomed me for internships during which I managed a research project. The whole team was very caring, and I learned a lot from them. Their trust and confidence in me, the interest of the project boosted my desire to work in Research and in companies like Lifescientis.
During my internship at LifeScientis, I had the opportunity to join the Toxicology team where I was warmly welcomed. I had the opportunity to be part of very interesting projects and to learn from the expertise of the toxicologists. The diversity of the tasks was a real input of this internship; it allowed me to refine my professional project.
Doing my internship at LifeScientis was the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that listens and especially takes the time to oversee its interns during the whole internship. We instantly feel part of the life of the company. Working with the Toxicology department was a good chance to follow the process of toxicological evaluation files; to deepen present subjects (nanoparticles, endocrine disruptors...) and to understand regulatory aspects around risk management. It was a great experience !
For almost two years I worked at LifeScientis as a "marketing & communication project manager". Within a warm and dynamic team, this opportunity gave me the chance to develop many skills in digital project and customer relationship management in Life Sciences field.
As a young graduate of Master 2 Chemistry and Cosmetic Engineering, I was hired by Lifescientis during the difficult period of Covid-19. Since my arrival, one year ago, I develop skills for applied scientific research in the field of encapsulation as well as fundamental notions in toxicology and human health risk management.
I joined LifeScientis in 2019; a year during which I operated as a student-apprentice in charge of Marketing & Communication. This position enabled me to develop my skills in communication and thus refine my professional project which was the creation of my company in SEO consulting
My internship takes place within the R&D team as part of R&D programs in micro-encapsulation. Halfway through, this experience is already very enriching. I have the opportunity to work on stimulating and innovative projects. I am consolidating my skills in the field of encapsulation, as well as in analytical methods, while deepening my knowledge of essential oils. Working on concrete projects allows me to put my theoretical knowledge into practice and develop new skills. I was warmly welcomed and supported by a passionate and dedicated team. This internship strengthens my determination to pursue my career in R&D and contribute to the growth of forward-looking innovative companies like LifeScientis.
